THE PORT ADELAIDE Football Club congratulates SANFL assistant coach Jace Bode on his receipt of SANFL Player Life Membership.

Bode was among seven players to receive the honour at the League’s Annual General Meeting at Adelaide Oval this week.

To be awarded SANFL Player Life Membership, a player must play a combination of at least 200 SANFL League or State matches.

A former captain and three-time premiership player with Norwood, Bode began his career with Sturt before finishing in 2021 playing with Port Adelaide’s SANFL side.

The reliable backman also played two games for the state team.

Among the others recognised by the SANFL on Monday were Woodville-West Torrens premiership trio Luke Thompson, Patrick Guiffreda and Jarred Allmond, South Adelaide Magarey Medallist Joel Cross, West Adelaide premiership forward Jonathon Beech and Central District midfielder Jarrod Schiller.

Bode officially joined the club’s SANFL coaching set-up this season, working alongside senior coach Matthew Lokan.
