THE Port Adelaide community has rallied behind injured player Robbie Gray.

Since Gray’s sickening injury in the dying moments of the Round 4 clash with Collingwood, players and fans have done their best to lift the 24-year-old’s spirits with messages of support on Twitter and Facebook.

Scans on Monday confirmed Gray would require a full knee reconstruction - ruling him out for the remainder of the 2012 season.

Gray had surgery late on Monday evening with teammates Travis Boak, Paul Stewart and Cam O’Shea, as well as girlfriend Annabel Whiting and good friend Michael Haddad there to support one of the Power’s fan favourites.

O’Shea tweeted a picture of Gray following the surgery with ‘Doctor Haddad’ (below) while Boak posted a photo lamenting the size of Robbie’s 34cm TV in his hospital room.
