JARMAN Impey’s best on ground performance against Collingwood headlined a clean sweep for Port Adelaide in the AFL Coaches Association Votes for Round 11.
With 22 disposals, six inside 50s, three goal assists and a goal, Impey was awarded the maximum possible 10 votes from the coaches as his move to the forward line continues to pay dividends.
Charlie Dixon spent most of the afternoon with two defenders on him and went goalless against Collingwood, but his ability to repeatedly contest the ball and get it to the advantage of the smalls earned him seven votes from the coaches.
Aaron Young also polled seven votes, his breakout year continuing with 24 disposals, four inside 50’s and four goals.
Booting seven goals between them, Chad Wingard (three votes) and Jake Neade (two) joined Youngy as multiple goal scorers, while Robbie Gray (one) continues to rack up the possessions with 26 against the Pies.
Robbie Gray maintains his place at the top of the Port Adelaide leaderboard with 31 votes, while Dan Hannebery from the Swans leads the competition with 54.
Port Adelaide hosts the Western Bulldogs on Saturday 11 May at 1.10pm (ACST).
